But as the door opens, you realise it’s anything but regular. Bathed in natural light, overlooking a beautiful garden, the space has a Scandinavian aura with an earthy twist. Background Story
Home to architects Shefali Balwani, Robert Verrijt and their five year old daughter Anika, the space changes seamlessly to accommodate their varying needs. The couple met in Holland in 2000 where Shefali was on an exchange programme at TU Delft. They soon moved to Sri Lanka to work under Channa Daswatte. After working there for a while, they shifted to Mumbai in 2006. Shefali founded her firm, Architecture BRIO in the same year. Robert joined in 2007. Elle Decor caught up with the couple who shared their journey in co-creating this home together.....
