Award-Winning School Design: Architecture BRIO Wins Invited Design Competition for Goa’s Future-Focused School

Architecture BRIO is thrilled to announce winning the invited design competition for EKYA schools, a visionary International Baccalaureate (IB) school located in the lush heart of Central Goa. Set on a picturesque two-acre site that offers breathtaking views of sprawling paddy fields, the award-winning school design for EKYA aims to embody the school’s core values—community, collaboration, individuality, and unity—transforming these principles into inspiring spatial experiences that foster learning and connection.

“We are excited to bring this vision for EKYA to life, providing a space where students can thrive academically and socially while being deeply connected to their surroundings,” said Robert Verrijt, Principal Architect at Architecture BRIO. “Our design not only enhances the educational experience but also respects the beautiful context of Central Goa.”

Architecture BRIO looks forward to collaborating with the EKYA community to bring this innovative design to fruition, setting a new standard for educational architecture in the region.
